What a fantastic result to end the minor round.
Underfeated at home 10-0 what an awesome achievement.
Credit to all involved, particularly the Club, Brad Gotch, the coaching group & the players.
Congrats to also to Bretty Eddy winning the Ken Farmer medal....stand out forward in the competition. the real stuff vs Sturt....fancy our chances.
Couldn't make it today, daughters junior sport, so interested to hear reports from those that were there.
I read on a sour note from today's game were injuries (Haren, Gulden & Hitchcock), hopefully these guys are right for finals.

Do we dare to dream? Our performance next week, will have a big bearing....but it's all very exciting.

Buckle in for the ride Panther Fans....get out there to support the boys in their quest for glory.

Great win , again.
However it may have come at a cost, with Haren gone for the season and a couple of others with injuries. We do have more depth than we have had for years and the likes of Irra, Overall and Daniel are waiting anxiously in the wings.
However we are there, ready to embark on a finals campaign in which we are well placed to at least reach the final game of the 2016 season.
We have it all laid out in front of us,a win next week against Sturt will set us up beautifully
Be there or be square!!!

Very good first half from South and if it weren't for some wasted opportunities in the third term could have won by a lot more. The last quarter was a bit of bore as both clubs played out time.

Pleasing to see a few of the 'fringe' guys named in the best- Taylor and Durdin. Usual suspects of Cross, Seccull, Liddle, Rose and Crabb were good. Eddy's rich vein of form continued with 5 majors.

Always satisfying beating the bubble boys, even if it was a 'dead rubber'.

The injury list has started to mount at the wrong time of the year unfortunately. Have a few guys waiting in the wings that have played plenty of senior footy at least.

Does anybody know the last time South's reserves played finals? I recall a GF loss to Glenelg in 2007, but struggle to remember a finals appearance since then.

Great win great effort from everyone 3 magnificent quarters and what a way to finish the minor round unbeaten at home against the bubble boy pros.

Bloody injuries, how do we get so many? But now there is some depth and the players who come in have talent and experience.

Above all there is confidence, determination and maturity amongst a group of players who can take it right up to any opposition.

Also I think you may be right about the reserves but I'm not certain.
